This proclamation directs that the United States flag be flown at full-staff on Inauguration Day to honor the occasion’s significance to the nation, its people, and its government. After Inauguration Day ends, the flag will return to half-staff in accordance with the earlier proclamation honoring the late former President Jimmy Carter.

Effective January 20, 2025, the CBP One™ functionalities that previously allowed undocumented individuals to submit advance information and schedule appointments at eight southwest border ports of entry are no longer available. All existing appointments through this system have been canceled.
